The Martinez Brothers are one of the most influential duos in the contemporary house and techno scene, recognized for bringing the energy of New York club culture to the global circuit. Born and raised in the Bronx, Chris and Stevie Martinez began their relationship with music at a very young age, influenced both by New York’s Latin culture and the city’s classic house sound.
Their rise within the scene was meteoric. While still teenagers, they were already performing in iconic New York clubs and quickly caught the attention of figures such as Dennis Ferrer and Seth Troxler, becoming key representatives of a new generation of artists connected to groove, improvisation and authentic club culture.
Over the years, they have built a global presence through performances at some of the world’s most important clubs and festivals, from DC10 Ibiza, Hï Ibiza and fabric London to Coachella, Time Warp and Movement Detroit. Their relationship with Ibiza, especially through residencies such as Music On, has been central to the expansion of their artistic identity.
As producers and curators, they have also developed their own label and creative platform, Cuttin’ Headz, through which they support both their own music and new talents connected to the underground house scene.
Their sets combine house, techno and New York roots with a direct and highly physical energy, creating sessions where groove and connection with the dancefloor are always at the center.
